Harvest For Hunger

We feel compelled to help others, especially those that have less than we do. And we’re committed to making a positive mark on our community. Besides our giving mantra being “help everyone eat better tasting and more nutritious food”, we actively contribute time, money, energy, and information so we can make this great town even better.

Harvest for Hunger

Next week we will be re-launching our “Harvest For Hunger” campaign here at Farmers’. This is our annual campaign to get our community involved with helping us purchase fresh produce for the Woodstock Community Food Shelf and the Reading/West Windsor Food Shelf. We see a real need to have fresh produce available for everyone, especially during the winter months.

From November 1st, 2016 through September, 4th 2017 we have collected $2,640 at our registers and WFM matched the $2,640 for a grand total of $6,734 of money towards fresh produce purchases. Amazing!

Now more than ever we need to come together as a community and help each other be the best we can be. Keep your eyes peeled for our donation boxes up at the front registers over the next few months and into the holidays.
