Customer Spotlight: Wade

In celebration of Customer Appreciation Day, we thought it would be fun to “shine the light” on a few long-time friends of Farmers’. This is part of a week-long series. 

Meet Wade

 

Wade stands in his favorite section of the store.

Q: How long have you been a Farmers’ Market customer?

Since 3 PC ( pre-Crowl), which would equate to roughly 30 years?

Q: Why do you enjoy shopping here?

The strong sense of community, seeing new and old friends, knowing that I am buying the freshest best products available both organic and local. Being introduced to new products: Just when I thought I had weaned myself off of the dark chocolate sea salt caramels, you introduce me to sea salt caramel Talenti Gelato. Who could imagine that I would not only be able to buy live oysters any day of the week but a selection besides. From seafood to meats to produce to cheese to wine, I don’t need to be anywhere but WFM and the shopping music is without equal.

Q: Which three Farmers’ Market items would you bring with you to a deserted island?

This is where it gets really hard. On one hand I could go for healthy and sustainable or say the hell with it, it’s a deserted island. But I’ll be good and say WFM Take and Bake pizza, Lincoln Peak Marquette and you’ve got it, Talenti Gelato.
